This vehicle was originally owned by the Swiss military as a troop carrier. It has a Mercedes gas engine, 6 cylinder, with only 67580 original kilometers (around 42k miles).

I am unfamiliar with the parade quality rating. Is this in reference to the fact that it can run long enough to finish a typical parade distance or does the vehicle just look pretty good at the distance a parade spectator would be viewing it from? Do we know that vehicles that take part in parades are all in really great mechanical and aesthetic shape? What kind of parade are we talking about here, I live in SF and we have a wide variety to say the least.

Do we get to keep the dog? Do Unimogs come with German Shepherds?

That's a good question. Not sure what the seller means exactly. Show truck perhaps? This is in upstate SC so a parade would probably be like the fourth of July or something. Maybe it's a military reference?

To me it is either a nice restoration or survivor.
